Harmony instruments often forced into the realms of ‘professional players only’ due to their high cost. We are very aware that low cost harmony instruments have two important applications outside the profession. Firstly, there is an enormous number of amateur players out there who play in a wide variety of ensembles. These players, often very competent, either cannot afford, or cannot justify, the cost of a pro model. Secondly, the educational sector often have to forego the education benefits of harmony instruments due to budgetary restrictions forcing them to concentrate on more mainstream models.
